Ep. 37: Broken Trust and Leadership

Hello, Fellow Travelers! Continuing in the theme of leadership, this week I pontificate on trust. Why do we trust leaders and people in leadership? There is both risk and benefit to an established cultural system that presumes trust. But broken trust can be deadly for a leader. Trust is one of the reasons to be wary of shortcuts for leadership. Leaders must always be vigilant for lack of accountability and ownership in their organizations which corrodes trust.
